About The Staff

Our dental staff is a valuable part of this office.  They are a dedicated team with a congenial attitude towards each other, committed to providing patients with a comfortable dental experience.

Reception:

Sheila and Mindy are our two receptionists.  Sheila, Dr. Keschner’s wife, has worked in the office for 20 years. Mindy has been with us for 10 years.  Both are very knowledgeable about insurance questions, scheduling appointments and other concerns you might have.  They know you may be anxious about your first visit, so please feel free to express your concerns.

Hygiene:

The dental hygiene team consists of highly skilled, experienced, licensed professionals.  They are members of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association and attend continuing education courses each year to enhance their clinical skills and dental knowledge.  Their enthusiasm and motivation set the standard to promote better dental health.

Carolyn has been with us for 21 years.  She received her degree in Dental Hygiene from SUNY Farmingdale in 1989.  Everyone who has been treated by her loves her and her gentle touch.  She has completed her certification training in the use of local anesthesia and nitrous oxide (“sweet air”).  Both are available if you so desire.

Kim, another of our wonderful hygienists, has been with us for 10 years.  She graduated from SUNY Farmingdale in 1995. She too is certified in the use of local anesthesia and nitrous oxide.

Donna has been working with us for over 17 years.  She earned her degree in Dental Hygiene from SUNY Farmingdale in 1989.  Patients love her for her gental touch and pleasant, soothing manner.

Chairside Assistants:

Our chairside assistants are Maddie, Caroline and Afsaneh.  Combined, they have over 50 years of assisting experience!  They are an invaluable help to the Doctors, and a soothing presence for our patients.  They are knowledgeable about our procedures and materials and are able to answer questions and make you feel comfortable during your visit.
